Noticing Some Changes?

Fall is coming! School is back in session, the leaves are beginning to change, and One Hot Cookie is making a few changes as well!

No that truck is not for sale. In fact, it is going to be a part of One Hot Cookie's Veterans Memorial Garden. For those of you who know the Lavender family, you know that Sarah Lavender-Brashear is the owner of our beautiful bakery. Her father, known to everyone as Purp, has been a loved, cherished, and missed member of the community. In honor of her father, Sarah and her mother have this memorial that will honor both Purp and all of our military members. For those that knew Purp remember the red Ford truck he drove around town. If you weren't able to make it out in the past week, because of the eclipse craziness, you've missed seeing the start of this garden. With that old Ford truck front and center, a wooden fence panel in front, and the flags flying high, the garden is well on it's way to being ready for viewers. The idea is to have it completed by the Apple Festival, so be keeping an eye out for the additions to the garden as they come!

If you've been down 14th Street at all, you've noticed those hard working construction crews redoing the culverts. Today, they have made their way down to our shop to insert a new culvert in front of our shop. This means our driveway will be underway to be finished soon! Once this driveway is complete, be ready for more ways to order from One Hot Cookie as we will open our drive thru!

We appreciate our customers for the wonderful comments and ratings they give on our Facebook. Today, we'd like to thank Nikole Smith-Ebersohl for her comment and 5 star rating! Keep your eyes peeled for new and exciting events happening!
